Lumen United Reformed Church in Bloomsbury (formerly known as Regent Square United Reformed Church) was originally a Regency Gothic Church, designed as a miniature version of York Minster.

The building was severely damaged in World War II bombings, and was completely rebuilt in 1965. In the early 2000s the building was extensively remodelled and modernised by architects Theis and Khan, with the finished building winning a 2009 RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) Award.

Songhaven is proud call this beautiful church home, and we are very grateful to the ongoing support of the Lumen Church & Cafe team.

Lumen Church & Cafe is our BLOOMSBURY/CAMDEN concert venue, located where Tavistock Place meets Regent Square. The venue and bathroom facilities are fully wheelchair accessible.

DRIVING: Street parking is free from 1.30pm on Saturdays (in meter spaces or on single yellow lines)

St Paul’s Church Knightsbridge is our WESTMINSTER concert venue, located a few streets back from Knightsbridge/Hyde Park. One of London’s London’s most beautiful Victorian Churches, the Grade II listed St Paul’s Knightsbridge has a long and illustrious history as a place of music-making, hosting groups including the BBC Singers and a renowned professional Church choir.

Please note there is a ramp to the church space for wheelchairs, but the toilet facilities in the church are not yet wheelchair accessible. There are accessible toilet facilities in the church hall across the road which we can open as required.
